Delicious and Tasty Cured Fish

WHY CURED FISH?

Almost everyday, when everybody's in a hurry, we cook fried fish just so we could have breakfast for the day. It is because cooking fired fish is very easy, quick, and fast, yet, delicious. It makes us partially full, enough to give us proteins and energy we need for the day.

Fish has nutrients in it, which help us throughout the day. That is one of the hundreds and hundreds of reasons why we should consider fish as a part of our daily and balanced diet.

It is rich in protein, omega-3 fatty acids (e.g. Vitamin D and B2), calcium and phosphorus, iron, zinc, iodine, magnesium, and potassium...

But isn't it tiring to eat fish in the same way we cook it, over and over again? With same things to prepare? It's always oil, salt, and fish!

Well, probably yes, because some people might know how to cook a fish but only with the frying method.

Ingredients:

Black Pepper Powder (the amount depends on how strong you want the flavor to be)
3/4 cup Salt (note: in a ratio of 1:1 with sugar)
3/4 cup Sugar (note: in a ratio of 1:1 with salt)
1 Fish

Materials:
Knife
Bowl (with cover)
Mixing SpoonChopping Board
Jar (Optional)

Procedure:
1.) Prepare all the materials, and ingredients needed.
2.)Get your fish. Place it on the chopping board and cut the head, remove the entrails, and fins. Descale the fish too and make sure no bones are left in the meat.
3.) Cut the fish in crosswise. But instead of normal filleting, do a butterfly fillet. In this method, you remove the bones from the meat instead of removing the meat from the bone.
4.) Pour the salt and sugar in a bowl. Mix it with the mixing spoon.
5.) Put a pinch of cinnamon powder and black pepper powder but the amount may depend on you on how strong you want the flavor to be.
6.) Put the fish in the cure (the mixture of spices).
7.) Place it in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
8.) You may grill or bake it. Enjoy!
